Can anyone help? I need help getting my speed sensor hooked up, and if you have any advice on tightening a clutch cable more than the adapter allows? My clutch doesnt engage untill an inch from the floor.

You only can adjust your clutch so far, your speed sensor , well you have a cable so it just screws in out , one bolt holds it in the bracket ...so nothing else to tell on that one, also you just keep adjusting to where you want it, be careful you can adjust it where its constantly riding the clutch/burning it up...so make sure you know what your doing, BTW that is such an easy car to work on, other then the intake

good, yeah, theres 2 wires that look like they'd work, but they dont reach so i'm guessing that they are the wires, lol. yeahh, i'd just like to take some of the play out of the cable so that my clutch would engage further from the floor

further from the floor, well if it was a hydro I can see that but its a cable so it will never feel like a hydro clutch

He doesn't exactly want it stiffer, it just feels like an old worn out clutch, you know, engaging at the floor instead of up top.

if that makes sense.

Like I said its not a sensor its cable/drive, runs off a gear that is bolted at the backside of your tranny near your starter below it ...
