The family of the kid that was in the crash with nick hogan released video of what their son is now going through.
Ive heard of him having a hole in his head but this really puts it in perspective.
This is really messed up, i dont know if i could let my son live being like that, hes got to be missing 70-80% of his brain. He will never live a normal life again.
If that was me i would want to be dead
NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH

8 months in jail for Nick seems like days compared to how long he has to live his life like that.

WTF....it's hard seeing a loved one suffer like that. You want them to live to the fullest and see them every day but I think this is pushing it given the state he is. I'd rather be dead if I was in his shoes. Wow, I don't know what to say anymore. Im speechless.

Correct but he wasnt killed, as the video shows he is still alive.
I believe all Nick was sentenced for was speeding, DUI, possibly racing. that was it.
I dont think he was sentenced for any damage done to his passenger who is in this video.
some backstory to this is the audio tapes of Hulk Hogan (nicks father) saying that his passenger (kid in the video) "must have done something bad to derserve this" an was saying it wasnt nicks fault.
All i know is that i couldnt live with myself if i had done this to a friend of mine.

Nick Hogan is a pussay. 8 months is nothing close to what he should be sentenced. I hope he gets gang raped every day for the 8 months he has to serve.
If that was my friend laying in the bed, the last thing on my mind would be getting off with practically no jail time.

I honestly dont see why Everyone is blaming Hogan.
Alcohol was involved.. BOTH were inresponsible. Passenger not wearing seatbelt.. He's fault for not doing so..
I mean, Hogan driving like a dumbass, yes, He should get punished for the 'DRIVING' part of it..
I understand, that Hogan shouldve been responsible when driving and having a passengers..
But think for a second, How many of us have been in a street race or even driving high paced as a passenger? Im sure, Plenty..
You can blame Hogan for the the Driving part like I said, But not, the pain he's friend is going through.
At the end of the day, It was an accident caused by alcolhol which both were drinking..
Hogan, Im sure, never forced his friend in the car...
Is a catch 22 at the end of it all.

Who is Dan Heatley?
Played for the thrashers..
On September 29, 2003, Heatley was seriously injured after he lost control of the Ferrari 360 Modena he was driving. The car struck a wall, splitting the car in half and ejecting him and his passenger, teammate Dan Snyder. Heatley suffered a broken jaw, a minor concussion, a bruised lung, bruised kidney, and tore three ligaments in his right knee; Snyder was critically injured with a skull fracture, fell into a coma, and died six days later on October 5 of an infection. Despite forgiveness from Dan Snyder's family, Heatley was charged with vehicular homicide; he pleaded guilty to second-degree vehicular homicide, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain a lane, and speeding. At the time, his blood-alcohol content was the legal limit. He was sentenced to three years probation, and the judge required the court to approve Heatley's vehicle, which could not have more than six cylinders and would not surpass 70mph (112km/h).[12]

i feel for the family. but they really should let him go. i know that is a awful thing to say. but he is not the same person they know and loved he is gone and will never be the same person they once knew. i know not one of his family members would not want to live like that. and i am sure he does not want to be living like that either.

what the hell. both parties involved in this (hogan and the graziano) are crazy as hell.
as far as im concerned, hogan is NOT to blame for his friends irresponsibility. they were BOTH drunk, got in a 600+hp car in the rain, and graziano neglected to wear the 4-5 point harnesses that were in the car. nick had no control over this. granted, he shouldnt have been driving in the first place, but thats like saying "if you hadnt let me get in your car and not wear my seat belt my head wouldnt be missing!!", which may be true. however, that is a COMPLETE cop out and is basically saying that graziano was in no way responsible of his own actions.
grazianos family is crazy as hell for keeping him on life support with a massive hole in his skull like that. i mean, if they took him off life support, he would have a closed casket funeral... yet they keep him alive like that?:screwy: :wtf:

Granted I understand that they were drinking, and the passenger was not wearing his seatbelt but damn, these people( the Hogans) can show a bit more compassion than what they do that is for sure.

Another point to make was that graziano was a long time friend of the hogan's, live with them on and off because of the rough relationship with his own family, and even wanted to be part of nick hogan's "racing team". When it comes down to it, i highly doubt that graziano was like "hey don't race that viper". If he was that concerned, he would have at least put his seatbelt on. Look at nick hogan. He was wearing his seatbelt and only substained minor injuries. If graziano would have been restrained he most likely wouldn't have recieved such a severe head injury...

It was already said that he should have been wearing a seatbelt. At the end of the day he was the driver. It would have been completely avoided if he hadn't raced in the first place, forget about "lesser" injuries.

I feel for the guy a lot, but what kind of family puts that kind of video out like that? I feel as though the family is trying to win the country's sympathy or something. If i were him i wouldn't want that video of me all over the internet, i would want to live my life of pain privately.
And having some kind of rock music or something in the video??? I don't know if the family did that or some youtube whiz, still the whole video seems disrespectful to me.

Totally agree
I think ppl forget who the adult was in the car, it was the passenger and as adult he could could have made the decision to not ride with a inexperience young driver. John has been around nick for some time and I believe he was in the big supra vid with nick. I have no proof, but more than likely he has ridden shotgun plenty of times when nick was street racing.
I have it written in my will, and even told my family that I don't want my friend or the driver of the car I am riding with to get charge for any mistake. As a adult I can choose whether I want to be passenger, and as adult I live by my choices. So if I am in passenger in a street race, I will live with the known consequences if something goes wrong, because I know what I was getting myself in too.

I'm still trying to figure out how that kid is even alive.....
On a lighter note...that supra was riced out anyways...body kits and chrome rims ftl
I really don't see how someone can still be alive and in that condition. To me, it looks fake. If it's not, then I would rather be dead then continue living a life with that horrific physical humiliation. Nick got lucky his friend didn't die, but I have to agree with some of the people here who said that he was the adult in this situation, but man, it just sucks to see the aftermath of what could happen if you drive alittle bit over the speed limit.
This is a perfect example of how everyone needs to stop acting like a couple of morons, and learn how to drive and only act like a fool in a controlled environment.
