Jim Caviezel, the guy who played Jesus in The Passion Of The Christ, will be at Trinity Chapel in Powder Springs on Sunday
(9:00am & 11:00am).

It should be pretty interesting.
Last Sunday, when they were announcing it, it seemed like it would be an interview type thing... but he may speak also.
I dunno... Just thought some of you may be interested. :dunno:

What does Jim Caviezel have to do with God? Just cause he played Jesus in a movie does not mean he IS Jesus. Whats he gonna talk about? How he got into character by healing the sick? Give me break. Next they'll have Scott Stapp came and speak since he thinks he is Jesus.

i'm not positive... because i don't know much about him...

but there are plenty of actors/actresses, sport stars, musicians.. that churches ask to come speak or whatever at their church... most of the time they are christians.. now i don't know if jim caviezel is or isn't.. but if he is it would make sense they would ask him to come speak...

and if he isn't it still makes sense.. since he did play jesus in probably one of the most powerful christian based movies of all time..... think about it man...

lol, in all seriousness though he's a cool actor and i enjoyed most of the movies i've seen w/him in it. too bad he's showing up at a church, else i'd show up :D

It went good. He clearly had a lot on his heart to say, almost too much. Bless his heart, everytime he was asked a question (it was an interview) he would start telling a story and get completly side tracked and start talking about something that had nothing to do with the question, then finally make it back around to the question. He was very bold and seemed to have a close relationship with God. Overall, it was interesting...

He said some of his famous friends tried to talk him out of doing the film because it would hurt his career and he said "this is what I have to say to Hollywood- I am not throwing my favorite person under the bus, you are not the ones who gave me this talent".

i honestly didn't like his "interview"... yes he seems like a very bold christian... yes he made some good points....

but he completely was off topic the whole time... i almost directed him to the WL....
