Puregroove, Dirty Octopus and I met up today to try and get some pics, but were faced with technical difficulties, horrible traffic, getting lost, and a breakdown. :(

But thanks to their hot cars, i was able to get a couple.

The editing is a little too over done IMO. Remind me of HDR shots! But, good to see out of the oridinary every now and then. I give them :goodjob:

yeah the locales are kinda meh. I couldn't find a building with an outlet to power my flash with, and then when we left that building up there we got caught in traffic and D.O.'s car overheated so that kinda put an end to things.

Strobists: please imagine an AB800 at full power hitting the front, and another at full power hitting the sides. Had my "run the strobes off my car" plan worked, that is what would have happened.

yep, I play soccer at the fields, Saturday mornings when I can. There were literally about 30 african players in the game[on the field] I played.

There were 3+ we all were parked illegally all over the place. Me and Do were on the sidewalk waiting for you. That was too cool, for some reason. :D

nerdsrock, great shots! you should look into a power converter for your cig. lighter in your car to always plug your flash up to. puregroove, car is def. the sex. and DO, love the sol man, next time i see you i'll introduce myself. lol

see thats the thing...i was running a power converter and it wouldn't power it, I'm not sure if the wattage was too low or what (i'm clueless when it comes to electrical stuff)...I'd appreciate any advice!

I don't know, i know we had a xbox in my buddies explorer running off of a converter and it never had any real issues. i'll find out how he was running his, and what kind he had and get back to you
