temp gauge problem

My temperature gauge always reads that its cold, when i know that its not..and the radiator fan never turns on.. so tommorow i was going to change the thermostat... would that be the problem or should i be aware of something else? thanks in advance

pull the connector on the temp sensor if the fans come on the sensor is good if they dont come on change out the sensor

either that, or ur thermostat could be stuck OPEN. if what no mo hondas said doesnt fix it, then go with your original plan of the thermostat.

pull the connector on the temp sensor if the fans come on the sensor is good if they dont come on change out the sensori said that backwards i think. if the fans come on with the sensor unplugged the sensor is bad and if it comes does do anything with it unplugged your problem is else where.
