Apparently my dad has a coin from Austria that is worth a pretty number. But he's like, "wtf am I going to do with this coin? I can't spend it so i'd rather sell it."

So the question is, where can he go locally to sell the coin or cash it in?

ebay sucks. google coin classifieds or coin forums, or go to a coin trader. I used to go to a currency hobby dealer in Conyers all the time for silver certificates.

It's been so long since i've lived there. If you get off at the main exit there (I think it's hwy 138), take it south to the kroger shopping center on the right, which is about 2 miles down, it's in that center. Or at least was.

yeah but the owner(Gill) is weird as hell, and looks like the guy from back to the future, but yeah, I'd say they're the best bet.

go to the antique dealer hall at peachtree peddlers flea market. its a huge indoor place off exit 221 on I-75 with an obnoxiously large American flag. you can't miss it.
