Most of those cars would have high mileage for a 2000+. I'm looking for a car for my girlfriend right now in that bracket, anything interesting is going to be more unless you find one of those ''deal of the century'' cars.

I have a black 97 ES300 lexus with 207k miles. Needs nothing!! Ive owned the car for 4 years. I bought it with 122K miles. This car will hit 300K with ease and gets 24-25mpg in the city and 28-29mpg on the highway with the ac on! AC blows cold, timing belt changed, new axle(boot was ripped), new tie rod ends, valve cover gaskets, clear title, tranny fluid changed 3 times since Ive owned it. I changed the oil every 3k. Never needed to add oil between changes. I really don't want to sell it but my fiance has a 07 benz that will turn into a pumpkin if she keeps drivin it before the factory warranty expires. pm me your email and i can send you some pics. The NADA book value is $5900-7700. The body is almost perfect for a 97. The car has tint, stereo system with subs and amps and x-over. Around the 150k mile mark I added H+R springs(1.0'' drop still rides smooth) and Tokico blue struts. Like I say, I don't want to sell it, but I am planning on doing it anyway to buy something smaller and cheaper. This is a solid car for the money. You may find some cheaper, but they will definitely need some type of maintenance done to last as long. You can save the time and money and not have to worry about anything.

As much as I hate to say it I would recommend buying a used Civic or some other small car with the lowest mileage you can find.

What do ya think of these? I am always looking for car in the exact range and ran across these. I also know where several other makes are but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Get a decent car/body for like 2000 and swap it with a low mile engine with another 3000. Then 1000 for the body/paint repairs. Very reliable. Get low model cars so insurance be super cheap also. Cant go wrong man.

It is a 13 year old car, but it still runs and drives great. You can contact me via PM if there are any more questions. I can get more up to date pics if needed because these are from when I first got the car. I'm just too lazy to upload them. I have removed the pinstriping also.
