The 1.8T can nevar lose. Theres no need to keep times. Even if it were to do an 18 second pass it would still win:goodjob: .:lmfao:

go look on here and you can prolly get a good idea http://www.dragtimes.com/

IIRC they are high 13 low 14 cars stock and can get alot quicker when tuned.

BTW in 2005 they switched generations from Mk4 (1.8T w/180hp) to Mk5(2.0T w/200hp)

Also if she is chipped be careful cause you might just be out 100 bux afterwards depending on what your driving

ya chipped 2.0t's are pretty fast, i ran one and he pulled on me and slowly kept going. and my 1.8t is chipped with some other bolt ons.

I was wrong, its the 03 with the 1.8 on stock turbo. I'm in a SE-R with intake, running straight header, with a big header.

it would be a close race but i think the 1.8t would win. if the 1.8t is chipped it might pull hard on you. all this if your a se-r sentra? not altima...

stock 15sec - with mods 13 or possible 12's(this is very difficult on stock turbo)

you have her in an Auto car, you cant power brqke to build boost w/o the computer freaking out (only in drive by wire though)so the jetta cant build boost sitting still. If its older 1.8T drive by cable, and she knows to stall it up, you are in trouble.

Well I would hope your car that you put money into modding it would beat a stock jetta. That would be sad.

I got a 18t jetta 4 jew. Oh look what I found in my wallet, a $100.

My 1.8T jetta was very reliable outside coil pack recalls and a clutch I needed due to power gains. I'd do it again if I had it to redo....and definately not sell it as fast.
