well thought id take some pics of flowers just to give it a shot.
ive always loved photography but never really tried so i may start..
i just have a lil pont and shoot casio right now but was wonderig what some of you guys would pick up as a good starter camera..slr..
i was thinkin abou a nikon d40?

I love 2 and 3. All 4 are really good shots though.
Yeah Nikon D40 is a good choice!
I have a point and shoot as well. Canon Powershot S5 IS to be exact. I love it.
But would not mind a DSLR in the future once I learn my S5 IS well enough to up move in that direction.

This thread is a bit flaming.. But who am I to talk, Im French and wearing a purple shirt..

Nice pics!! Im going to get a nice camera too, I really want to get into amateur photography.. Thinking about a Canon, Ill see what people recommend..
