as for doing a whole hood i would not use that. i have used that diy and the results are not even close to what the hood looks like.

you will never get a hood to look that good using spray paint. sorry. and the spray paint will look bad again in a few months. i use uv protectant clear to try to keep the hood looking good for awhile

do you know how much orange peel you would get on doing rattle can on the hood?! lol even on that spoiler you could see all the orange peel.
you COULD do it yourself if you had a clear gun.

nah trust me guys, this was no easy fix. The "scratches" are cracks. The hood is baked from being above a turbo for about 20k miles. Bucky did more than just sand and clear. There was some filling involved. As for price, I paid 120 due to his May special... this job usually runs 150 by his ads. He had the hood about 3-4 days before it was done. I couldnt be happier with it.

Haha had this car for years. I like your SI though, very clean look.

As for those that say that I should have done it myself, you really would have just had to have seen it. It wasn't just oxidized. It was cracked everywhere.
