So about 10pm last night i was on the phone with a friend of mine when i looked out of the window to see if my roomate had gotten back yet (I can tell the diffrence in his car from others). Out of ****ing nowhere I saw two kids wearing white shirts and white du rags and red (i think) bandana's over their faces tryin to steal my neighbor's wheels. Makes it worse is that it was right next to my car. So Im flippin out because not even 6 months ago my teg was stolen so im tryin to watch these bastards without lettin them see me while I call the cops.

Aparently my neighbor also caught wind ( seeing as we both stay up late and he lives above me) and beat me to it. Sad thing is I like literally 3 mins from a damn police station and they didnt show up til like 20=30 mins later after they left and got rid of the bandanna covering their faces and started walking around the neighborhood walkin tward a building. So here comes GCPD haulin ass in my street looking for these guys and go figure long gone.

I think Im seriously considering moving because my first car was broken into and then they stole my teg and several of my neighbors had break ins or stuff stolen. I mean it's gotten so bad Dominoes makes us get the pizza's in front of our building now since they got robbed twice in one week.

I mean what the hell is this area comming to? The kids couldnt be anymore than like 15 and even if they stole the car where in the hell were they goin because i didnt see any idling cars layin around. The only thing savin that set of wheels was the locks and the fact that you need a allan key to get to the lug nuts, and strangely dominoes pizza pulling up the next building over and the guy shined a light on them.

So anybody living off pleasant hill needs to really look out i hear of a lot of cars disapearing out of apartment complex's as of late and seeing as it took police that long to get to sweetwater road you really gotta be vigilant. I just can't wait to move.

Sweetwater road area is rough. I dont care how cheap the apartments are, I would not move down there. When we were looking for a place to live, it had to be north of Duluth Hwy or I wasnt even considering it. Its starting to move north, pretty soon we will have to move to the freakin mountains to stay away from this crap.

Makes me want to go out tomorrow and get a gun.

im gonna give you some advice. a cop once told me that they put police stations in areas that are known for crime. this cop told me that whenever looking for a place to live always get a place that does not have a police station near by. if you dont beleive me cruise around and take a look at 90% of the areas that have a police station near by...those areas are areas where you would not leave your car over night un-attended.

well, i am sure they have gun ranges all around here. the one near me is in Forest Park...IA gun range meet?
i am in Canton a lot, so anywhere between Canton and South Atlanta....works for me...

I'm saying that I doubt you'd even have the nerve to even grab the gun if you were in that situation. I only know of two people on IA that has ever actually pulled strap on someone. I'm one of them. Everyone can say they'll do it but when it gets right down to it, people that don't see things daily; they don't know what they'd really do. Later, QD.

stephanie

i see what you mean.
well, i have to say that you may be right. who knows what i would do if some one actually broke in. the gun stays loaded on my nightstand, and during the day i put a trigger lock on it and lock my room door because i have kids.
when you are a parent, and you have the kid factor going on, i thinks that steps it up some.
recently there have been some home break ins in my area. this area is for sure not like Canton. I lived there for a while with my parents they live near Reinhart College. Those loft apartments off Riverstone are looking really good these days.

X2, it's like when you ask someone what would you do if you had a gun to your head or something along those lines they say i would run. Truth is, most wouldn't, they would stand in "shock". Its like People only react to situation appropriately only when they believe they have a chance, if they don't think so they don't do anything. Unless for the less people that have encounter this situation before and are more prepared. I personally don't live in the safest area but at least it is the a main road or Morrow. To bad the drivers are idiots.
