i have forza.never used to be a big nascar fan bt started watching last season so i said screw it. the game is actually quite entertaing don't knock it till youve tried it.

I played it at the EA Sports Release party they held for it in Charlotte, and I thought it was pretty sweet.

If you like NASCAR, then you'll dig it I'm sure. If you don't, then you probably have a primered civic anyway, so who cares what you think :) Jokes people. Jokes.

The tracks are really well done and all the new garage stuff is pretty well done. I dig almost anything EA gets their hands on though.

'09 seems good so far. The graphics look great. Have only ogtten a few races in to the Nationwide series so far. There are a ridiculous amount of adjustments you can do to the car in the car settings menu.

On '09 is it setup like it is in '08 where you have to spend hours on all the stupid tests to open up the tracks to race in them? I hated that with '08 because you just want to get into the season and to do that you have to pass tests for each type of track and 2 for the COT. I didnt like also how it did not have the truck series or nationwise series races in '08, Im glad to see in '09 they do again.

I have only played the Chase for the Cup mode. You create your car and pick your sponsors. You then can start in either the Truck series or Nationwide series and work your way up from there. I haven't gotten very far because I kept resetting it after the first race to try to win or place better. I am playing with the computer AI set to normal and it's pretty tough. I need to buy a wheel to play this game better. Trying to stay stable while 3 wide at Daytona with the normal controller is a recipe for a disaster. Black flags own me.:D

yeah I found the cars hard to control in '08 and on a track almost no way to avoid smashing your car up on the first 1-2 laps because the cars all run into you or make it so you hit them

yeah they seem to wiggle alot when you get near. I am not sure if they were trying to imitate getting " aero loose " but it is a little extreme. I love the lighting and graphics though. In car view FTW. I miss the older feature where you could lock on to the guy in front of you to draft instead of constantly having to speed up and slow down to avoid hitting him. The car damage could be more realistic in my opinion too.
