what are you bowling PBA oil for? I bowl in the PBA challenge at my house and chameleon is stupid hard. Everyone has a problem with that. My average went down 20 pins bc im bowling in this league. RETARDED..... :(

Its a difficult pattern to get the ball to come back in after shooting up the high boards. I like to shoot 13 to the 2 board. But when i shoot this pattern I shoot 12 to head pin.

I think he means that he rolls the ball across the third arrow from the right or left, depending on which hand he bowls with, and the ball slides out to about the 2nd board from the ditch, (about 2 inches away from the gutter) and the ball hooks back to the pocket.

When the other shot is out he throws pretty much straight up the gut. The 12 board being Three boards to the right of the 3rd arrow.

It depends the house. Most house's will soak the lanes out to the 30+ mark so that they carry oil all night long. Which for a player like me is fine b/c i play outside anyways. And your standard house shot is going to be straight up the middle. I know when I bowled up at my house on Monday night the lanes were dead ass dry. I couldn't shoot for ****. I think the first game out I shot a 178. BOOOOOO!!! I had to keep switching up balls trying to find the oil. Last game before I left I did manage to get off a 237. Which isnt to bad on a dry lane. But I have very bad days where I cant get my act together. Although unlike most people i bowl with I have only been bowling since The end of last year. :D

There is no lane the same. I don't care who tells you. You have 3 basics styles of bowling. Im really not going to go into that for the sake you won't know what im talking about. ;) But you have variables that are alot of times out of your control, like tempature of the room and your ball. How old the lanes are. Whens that last time they were oiled. Also look at the balls themselves. For instance my number 1 ball that I throw drinks oil like its nothing. But a house ball you would never know the difference. Then also there's the bowlers that bowl on them, making a huge difference too. When I was at state there was 8 people on 2 lanes. And most of them were old guys so they were shooting straight up the middle. I had to play outside to find oil b/c they were drying up the middle. So I played outside all 6 games and ended up shooting a 737 in singles and a 802 in doubles. But again it has to do with how well your able to adjust on the lanes given. A good bowler is someone who can shoot a 300 on his house lane. A great bowler is someone who can shoot a 300 on someone else's lanes. Thats what makes the pros so good. :goodjob: I shoot with guys on my mens league who have 5 300 rings but you take them outside of that bowling alley and they wont shoot any higher then a high 100 low 2.

My plans were to next year try and make it into the PBA regionals. But I need alot more practice.

My car was hit last thursday so you wont see it for many many months b/c of the damage done to it. And i drove my girls SUV up there. I got there around 9:30 or so. Shot 4 games averaged 215. Then sat around and waited for Jesus' and Collins to finally show up. Then left around 11:30 or so. I talked to some people outside for a bit. But I dont know there names or anything.
