My local one had it for $100 before with the coupons. They're decent people. I only trust 1 mechanic there.

You're not really getting any deal. If they want your business, they'd give you that discount regardless. Just ask for a discount, and they will give it to you. Any sales associate has the ability to do that.

is that like the lifetime of the set of tires you have on at the moment or lifetime of ownership of car? is it transferable?

^^It's transferable up to 6 months. I already have a lifetime alignment. Besides, I got mine years ago with an employee discount.

i had that, took my jeep in and they did not do a good job, took it back and they said they could not align it because it was too big, 6.5 lift on 35x13.50's is not that big, infact thats about average for a trail rig, but they tried, failed, and gave me a full refund.

it is lifetime of the vehicle and it is not transferable

I used to work there. It's transferrable up to 6 months.

And the reason why they couldn't align your Jeep is because he didn't know how to align it. With jeeps with that particular set up, everything you learn about aligning you have to throw out the window. I bet his dumbass was trying to set the toe the conventional way. With them, you don't quite do it that way. You have to push the tires by hand until they come within specs. If the total toe is set, you watch the screen and make sure the wheels are pointed straight ahead and you have someone go sit inside while you make the adjustment for the steering wheel. When it comes up straight, it's ready. Rarely would you have any problems with camber or caster on a jeep. It's just toe or a crooked steering wheel. Most of the time it's just a crooked steering wheel.

Got mine for my Cobra for $ 109 local with a coupon back in 04. It was pretty awesome.
I got the car aligned right after I bought it because I put new tires on.

Took it back 6 months later with completely different suspension... c/c plates, shocks/struts, tubular k-member, coilovers, bumpsteer, etc. and I didn't expect them to touch it.

They called me a few hours later with "your car is aligned, but we noticed that your battery terminals are a little corroded. Want us to clean them up? It will cost $8."

Holding back a laugh, I agreed. Mistake on my part. Their terminal cleaner left a nasty pink stain on my battery sticker.. oh well.

You guys should def. jump at this deal.
