no south meets are good.. cause got ppl like the guy who started the post talking about peoples cars cause they dont look all nice like the ones off the movies.... its the people who drive the car that make the car not the way it looks.. i would go to that meet if someone can get ppl to come i tried to get ppl to go to riverdale an fayetteville but all i get is trashed so good luck to who ever can make it work.. i live in Tyrone right between Fayettville and PTC.. and Fairburn so doesnt matter where i meet up just not goin northside no more even though their cars are nice the people are assholes an ****s......no offence to anyone on here just the ones i have meet up their in the past lame ass saturday nights

No, one reason south meets don't work out is because random idiots show up. If i see a ricer at a meet or rolling by one, I know he's going to do something stupid to ruin it. Secondly, you don't know the guy. so to make that statement is just ignorant. He just wants decent, clean cars around. They don't have to be "movie worthy." The cars that I've mostly seen around Newnan are horrible. They are still in the ricer modding mindset with the huge ass spoilers and etc.

I haven't been to any local meets because I am hesitant about the type of crowd that will show up, not just the cars also. Would be nice to have a meet with good cars and more importantly good people. I can never get off work in time to make any of the meets in the Atlanta area and I get too lazy to drive that far.:doh:

I go to school at gordon, my girlfriend lives in williamson so I spend a good amount of time in griffin and all i ever see out there is stuff that could be seen on buford hwy.

There are a lot of douchebags up here but some ppl are pretty cool. Just come on up to the Sonic Meets and you'll meet some cool people. Racing up here is kinda risky though unless you roll race. The meets are kinda same old, same old. Southside was really fun when I used to go down there. When I have my Lexus I will likely start coming down there again just to hang out.

When I graduated we still had the best school system in the state(also didn't have much to do with it). I'd be game to get a Fayetteville meet going. But It's gotta be worth it...I know a lot of the highschoolers use the hwy 85 starbucks across from Kroger..so if I can find a better place I'm up for whatever. If anyone else is....there seems to be a weird mix of cars in fay.co..you'll see REALLY NICE CARS, and then you've got really RICED OUT cars...

I actually raced a "ricer" if you could call him that...more like a redneck...mommy and daddy bought him a f350 turbo diesal and it was obviously chipped and had an exhaust cuz he was haulin ass....and I was in my car cruisin at like 65ish down 34....his exhaust was even with my head....and he hit the gas thinking it was funny....we got to the stop light, and he asked if I wanted to "race"...keep in mind I'm in a 02 IS300 5speed iwth basic bolt ons...I'm not going to out run him...So I just said "Naw, just don't kill me with exhaust fumes again" and he got mad and called me a rich preppy b!tch...

at that point I just said..."dude ur wearing a polo with a popped collar and ur hair is all spikey...if thats not the pot calling the kettle black idk what is..."
