THIS was back in the Cash Money days. He was a Hot Boy with Birdman, Juvy, Mannie and Turk. THIS was when Wayne was actually pretty good. This was the last of the more modern rap styles that I actually dug. I had every one of the No Limit cds made. All 100+ of them. They and CMM were at the top of the game in the late 90s and early 2000s. Between these two (NL & CM), THEY ran the game. Later, QD.

i'll admit they were good back then, but they still didn't compare to some good ol' west coast shiit. but rap now a days isn't rap anymore, so ive moved on from it and listen to rock now. with time comes change, and rap is just plain whack now.

Man i remember seeing them back in 1999 in New Orleans on Bourbon St, he sure turned into one ugly mother*******!!! I still cant wait until the hot boys cd comes out!!
Im with QD i still own all of No limit & Cash Money older stuff, back then rap was alot better then what it is now,i mean how long can you rap about your diamonds,and cars and ****.
i cant stand rappers that always being on TV stating that if you dont have all this stuff u aint ****, but they forget who gave that all too them,, there FANS!!!

seriously though, take the crap from now and compare them to, lets say, some west side connection or mack 10 lol you can't. wayne was legit, but he just slowly started getting whackier and whackier.

I'm not a big rap guy anymore, but I still own all the old CM/NL cd's and still listen to them from time to time. As everyone else says raps just not the same anymore.

I liked wayne then and I'll admit that I still like him now. Mack 10 is okay IMO. I only like a few songs.

i think the only people that actually like wayne are his adoring female fans. and not cause of his muzik but cause of his looks. either way he's still selling albums and bringing in the green so it can't be all bad, right lol but nah, not me, i don't dig his lyrics anymore... now mack 10, his flows still get to me, it might be cause i grew up more around it, who knows. everyone has different taste in music so i guess it normal.
