I'd stone it.

I like the concept... I'd drive it if I built it myself from a dead Civic maybe, but I wouldn't buy it. Thing is, I'd actually use it as a truck, not as a showpiece. Maybe B18 it with a small turbo, like GT25 or 14b for great low-end torque. I also think a 4WD wagon would be a much better vehicle to make into a pickup.

I've seen this done with a crx a long time ago, it was :gay: . Lets all to a group buy and then burn it. :D

Never turn a wagon into a truck! That's blasphemy.

More so than using a 4 door? Having power going to wheels below the weight is ideal, that's why pickups are RWD.

I was saying it more of, don't cut up something there aren't a lot of. As far as what would work and be functional, a wagon is ideal. But considering only 5% of all Civics/Crx's from 88-91 are wagons, I couldn't cut one up.

x2 :goodjob: . This goes along with my theory of classic muscle cars. So many people are chopping up classic cars and making them drag cars and ****. Its hard to find a stock good condition classic car anymore  .

I would give him like 600 bucks for it-mainly just for the motor and trans- and then part the car out, and throw that turbo in the trash! That poor ef!

hell yea i would rock the snot out of that thing...taking the trash off and not having to smell it...thought about doing the same to my hatch after my 4 doors is done...just a rear "firewall" and back glass, roll and weld the sides shut, it would be like a mini me el camino!

I <3 my EF

I'd rock it. Its different and it may look ugly but its faster then what I have currently so yeah I'd drive it. Its weird I have this thing for trashy fast cars they just turn me on like whoa...

Definately man. I mean, i'm all about improving a car, but I like to keep the car functional. I'll give an old muscle car with full interior that runs 12's more respect than a tubbed out one that runs 10's.
