Hey guys, I guess this isn't the typical car posted for sale here on the forums, but anyway,
1990 Volvo 740 Turbo sedan, 2.3 liter 4 cyl, auto, rwd, 180k, automatic, power windows, doorlocks, sunroof.
It's been very reliable in the 7 or so months I've had it. The previous owner took good care of it and I've put less than 2k on it since I've had it.
The odo reads 163k, but it's got more around 180k. The odometer and speedometer quit working while the previous owner had it. This problem has been fixed.
The good:
It's a Volvo, which means it will run for a lot longer than other cars. Mechanically it's in great shape. It's got a LOT of life left in it with proper maintenance. The late version of the B230FT is arguably the strongest motor Volvo put in a 240 or 740. I just had the front brake rotors turned last week and installed new front pads.
The not-so-good:
It'll need tires and an alignment soon (the front tires wear on the outer edge). The headliner sags and the a/c is weak like most Volvos. It has a bad connection in the left brake light which I should have fixed in the next few days. It has two dents which you can see easily in the pictures. These are the only things I know of that need attention.
I hate to see this car go but I can't afford insurance on two cars, and I need the money to throw at my B13 SE-R. This will make a great backup or cheap, reliable daily driver for somebody.
