are you sure the solenoid is good, it might be wack, check all of your fuses , and maybe try to jump it just for the sake of jumping it to make sure you didnt get a bad battery good luck

i have checked everything. i have 11.5V to the starter, 10.4 coming back from starter. solenoid clicks but motor wont turn over. i have jumped the power straight from battery to solenoid and straight fom battery to starter motor. starter motor still wont turn. under no load it will turn. flywheel is brand new and engine is manually turnable. i am lost. any ideas? brand new starter

have you tried popping the clutch? if it start when popping the clutch then its a ground or a bad starter.

Check the charge on your battery, 11.5 volts is low. you should see about 13.4 across the battery with no load.

MAummm yah when the cars running 13.4 is good. he cant get the car to start so since the battery is a 12 volt battery 11.5 is ok.

have u tried a different starter at all yet.

yes, i have tried 2 different starters, and both tested good at auto zone and advance, but i dont think those testers test them under load. i have not tried popping the clutch yet (lack of a hill:no: ). if i had a bad ground, which i think it might be, where are all the ground located so i make sure i dont miss one?

It could be a ground i wouldnt be able to tell you were they all are but i know of two and you probley already checked those, the one off the block and the one off the battery, but my friends 4 door was doing something similar and it was the main relay

but if it was main relay, wouldnt the engine turn over still when i jumped power between the power and signal terminals of the starter?
