I want to see how is interested in having a dyno day with the mountain run? So vote bitches!!! If only like 4 people are going to dyno, it's not worth my time to ask Charles to dyno. Also, if anyone else is interested (that not a EF driver LMK) :goodjob:

{since I messed up the poll and you can't see who voted what, post up when vote so I keep up with the our members}

Me and my dad want to do it, so there's 2 people right there.

I want to know a little bit ahead of time if this is going to go down. This would give me that extra "push" to get sum cams :goodjob:

I messed up, should have picked the 3rd option. My car's not worth dyno'ing. Well, ****! I'll bring another car! Brothers got a 65 f-150 with a built 429 in it. We just need to bolt the new tranny on it. Sure he would like to know what kind of power hes puttin down.

How much of a price are we talking about here? And whos the driver on the dyno? After the last time I tried to get my car dynoed and they ****ed up my alignment, I would rather run my car.

Mike you need to dyno so we can see who's got the highest numbers out of the ZC's :)

I'm pretty sure you got me beat. I'm pretty sure my engines got issues now, especially after the other weekend, where I was barely beating an Si EF on the straight aways on Road Atlanta.

Don't think so, but not a 100% sure. tomorrow is my last day at this job, they want to take me out for lunch and stuff. And I dunno, gonna be pretty hot in the afternoon, especially with no A/C. But would be fun. I dunno, fawk. Talk about it later. So, I'll see you at the Publix? at 6?

I'm probably gonna run this engine until its almost dead. I dunno, thinking about rebuilding it. I'm pretty sure ima buy another EF, and then swap the ZC into that as the DD.

What tranny do you have on your ZC? Gearing can make a huge difference.

cwhiteboy

Si tranny. The torque curve seems to flatten out at about 3k. I'm not really that concerned, everthing is up in the air, and the rex is not my DD.

Papa_Smurf

get a ZC tranny. you need to drive ur rex, and then hop into my hatch and i bet you'll notice a big difference gearing wise.

Build an Ultimate tranny. ZC gears 1 through 4, HF 5th (or Cx/Vx 5th from an EG) with an Si final drive. Put it in a ZC case with LSD. You can't improve on that pimpness.

I guess im not in the lol. The retards at one dyno figured he wouldnt hold my steering wheel, so when my car changed gear it torque steered and cut the dyno off, and ****ed my alignment up. People that dont know how to do their job ftl.

I would love to watch some dyno pulls but the dyno puts to much stress on my engine, so I have to say no for now. :(

jfrolang

It's no more stress than full throttle acceleration on an on-ramp. Do you need new rings or something?

I try to keep from opening the throttle all the way, my engine is in serious need of a rebuild. I just don't have the money. :(
