I am bored and figured i would bring a small glimer of life to this section and lets have all mustang owners post up with what they got, hell mods and pics. :dunno:

1.8 60's on DR's still wouldnt cut 11's. I'd like to see you run your car, just because the magazines say 13.0's dont mean they will run it ;)

no nothing against you just checking. alot of people from the M1R where running high 12's with just DR's and alum d/s! hell there have been people out there on M1R making mid 12's from same mods as above with x-pipe, cat-backs, short shifters, intakes and tunes!

mods :engine 302 out of a 91 gt f 303 cam,longtube headers, 4brl manafold and 600 cfc carb, c4 trans, suspension and brakes. sway bars added, high rate springs,kyb shocks, disk brakes added. i am in the process of switching to efi and a 5 speed manual trans

Mods: Wiseco 60 over 8.8:1 pistons, balanced and blue printed engine, Procharger D-1SC, Procharger race valve, Meth (not connected), N.O.S. Sniper wet kit, 3.55 gears, 60# injectors, 2 cobra fuel pumps, BFGoodrich KDW's, Long tube headers, full open exhaust, Hurst Shifter, eibach springs, Shaved and flat black rear panal, and lots more...I never remember what is done to it....

Thanks man. It only looks good b/c of Chang. :goodjob: Since my dad was helping me co-sign at the time, I had a few cars in mind, the mustang wasnt one of them. But it was the only thing he liked and he didnt want me to get a GT. WTF!? But it's all good. In the process of something. :ninja: I SHOULDA got a Arnold Schwarzenegger.

heres my $.02 so far fastest time of 7.30@100 with 1.6 sixty ft and 455rwhp and 519rwtq. this year i changed to ported brodix heads and new cam. the exterior got a 4" kanen cowl hood

Correct!! You can also kinda see that Blue GT with the parachute on the back. That is MPH's baby!! It is always parked in the middle of the garage for everyone to look at. If I remember right it is above 1600RWHP:eek:

I have already stated that in another thread:yes: I got the wheels up for sale trying to get some fr500. But then again the wheels look alot better in person is what most ppl been telling me.But all around i am just not a chrome fan so they got to go.

thanks man.. But i am not a chrome man at all even if i had a suv on 28's it would be PC:yes: But then again i might sell the car and get something faster stock and start from a new platform.

gl mustang wold right now is not doing great, its very hard to sell right now, most cobras are going for 21k +/- near stock low miles in good condition. Hell mine right now on the market is would only go for about 15k maybe 16k if i held out. So.... :(

Gents, I've just stepped into your world. Bought mine about a month ago. I'm not positive as to what all's been done, but there are a few things. I think just a CAI and exhaust (manufacturer unknown, as of yet). Bought it from a dealer, so go figure they know nothing. He said he also thought there was aftermarket suspension work done...but I think it's just that it's a GT.

Anyways, 2006 Mustang GT, 5spd, 4.6, tungsten grey. I'm gonna say there's no aftermarket stuff done.

Future plans? Well...looking for some hot tips from those already in the game. First thing will probably be an alarm and hidden radar detector. I don't know yet if I wanna do looks or performance or suspension. PROBABLY speed, first. Any suggestions where to start? It's supposedly running 300whp right now. First goal is 400. If I'm happy I'll stop, if not, I'll bump for 500. Just kinda NOT wanting to face gas prices...

Nice, car but i would change the rims and get the car lowered. Also the exhuast looks like it might be the factory upgraded FRPP exhuast. Next, your 3v from the factory makes i think 300hp and 320tqr which is the same as my car. The intake and exhaust really dont help all that much. Even more so with the car still running the stock h-pipe with cats. What you need to do is look into lowering the car, short shifter, tune, full exhaust system, gears if you dont like the stock 3:55( i think)! this would be a good start and not all that expensive! :goodjob:

Yeah, unfortunately, I didn't really get to look into it. I just kinda smiled, nodded, signed the papers and left.

I really like the wheels that are on it...but being that they're factory and I saw another one with the same rims the day I drove her home, I want something different. Just gotta find something I like... What's the diff/how can you tell the 3v from the 2v? I've never assumed the exhaust and intake to improve performance...just prepare for a performance making part and/or to improve sound. I definitely wanna drop it...eh...2inches or so. But I wanna find a suspension set up that's either adjustable, or comfortable yet sporty. I'll probably avoid the short shifter as I've never been a fan of them. Too easy to miss gears if you let someone else drive it...but we'll see with time. Is it really worth it to tune it while it's just a stock motor...? What exhaust systems are recommended? As for the gears...I want speedy pickup, but I also have to take in mind the cost of gas and gas mileage because I'll be on the highway more than enough time...

^ lol a 2v would be a 2004 down to like a 96 gt, a 3v i think is 2005 up gt, and a 4v is the cobra or mach 1 cars. I would go with some 3.73's gears because u want see a big drop in the gas miles. and with a bassani xpipe and catback. on top of that get a xcal3 for the tune and believe me it is worth it it could get u better gas and power in spots u don't currently have :)

For an 05+ I'd go at least 4.10s or just leave it alone since the stock gears are already 3.55. IMO it wouldn't be worth the $ to install 3.73s.

^ lol a 2v would be a 2004 down to like a 96 gt, a 3v i think is 2005 up gt, and a 4v is the cobra or mach 1 cars. I would go with some 3.73's gears because u want see a big drop in the gas miles. and with a bassani xpipe and catback. on top of that get a xcal3 for the tune and believe me it is worth it it could get u better gas and power in spots u don't currently have :)

I am a big fan of the 3.55 but thats becuase i still like the top end and plan down teh road when the car makes enough power for the power band to be just right.

Also for recommending exhaust its all choice. Use youtube best place to get an idea of what you want. I love magnapacks, borla, mac! tuner wise again, personal choice i would say the Diablo Predator Programmer!

as far as the programmer goes, I would talk to some performance shops, decide who you want to work on your car and use what they like best. I haven't gotten a tuner for mine yet, but I'm leaning towards SCT and Amazon Tuning. I've heard good things about Modular Power House too though and I think they like the Diablo Programmers.

My friend had his 03 tuned at modular powerhouse with his sct. They did a great job and he really liked them (stg 3 steggy, bunch of little things)

I have had 2 96 stangs besides the 04 i have now and 1 of them had reg gears the other 1 still has 3.73 and there is a big difference i no for atleast the 04 and down cars. and the best thing about it is it gets the same gas as the other without the gears..

For an 05+ I'd go at least 4.10s or just leave it alone since the stock gears are already 3.55. IMO it wouldn't be worth the $ to install 3.73s.

:no: that list makes no since u have had 5 all in the 2000 range and u never not once got a cobra/terminator:thinking: thats alot of money being spent on some slow car's so what made u not get a termi??

I don't like Cobras or Cobra owners, so I didn't buy one. Cost of 4v parts is so much more than 2v's and you don't ever really see high-power 2v's. I was intending on going nuts on the orange one, but it really got pointless at the end.

Neither are too much gear for the street, even with 460rwhp like my Bullitt had.

excuse me there to much for me. with 4.30 your in 5th hear by 50 and cruise at 70 at lie 3500rpms.

and if you have much over 450whp you will hafta shift into 5th at the 1/4 track which blows!

The pumpkin has a decal that says "3.55" and then some other crap. Is it factory or aftermarket has 3.55...?

the only options in the 06 5 spd are 3.55 so that is what you have. in 07 you could get 3.55 or 3.31!

Not bad gas mileage...how does it do on a dyno? I bought a V8 to own a manly man's car, but the more I see of these V6's, the more I'm impressed.

Well when i totaled my 350z i had a choice between a GT or a supercharged V6, and to be honest with you, the unmatched sound of a mustang GT is what made my decision for me...

Was walking through a Toyota dealership and came acrossw hat I thought was a normal 2001 black GT when I realized upon closer inspecition it was a 2001 Bullitt which they only made about 1800 of in black. I didn't want to pass it up so two days later my RSX was gone and I bought this :goodjob:

How do you figure? I've heard stories of people getting in trouble for illegal activities due to license plates being pictured on the net. Or, people using license plates as an identity to look up the "home address" of a car and strip it. Seeing as we tend to post alot about our cars on the net, what's been done to them, and how much money is involved with them...I personally would prefer not to have the risk of someone tracking my license plates...

Why do you think most other people do it? For example...the one in your sig...

Let's say you see a ford f150 online, and it's got a suede headliner, custom fiberglass/sued lined ipod mount and hookup leading to a 1200$ touchscreen/nav/dvd screen pushing out to a custom box with a 10" competition sub in it, two more tv screens in the headrests, and xbox360 under the seat, and a few other neat little gadgets inside...let alone the HID headlights, suspension work, wheels and tires on the truck, and you KNOW all of this to be on this particular truck two towns over...and you're risking yourself to break into and/or steal the truck altogether, are you going ot make it worth your time to find and pick up this truck, or settle for stealing one down the street that's bone stock? You can steal out the equipment and part it out, and never be traced. You can then choose to chop the truck, or ditch it, whatever, making all that money. Which one are you gonna choose?

I say this example because that's EXACTLY what happened to my buddy's truck. He's still recovering the losses. The guy was never caught, and there are no leads on who did it.
