how did you tint your lights?

What do you guys use to tint your tail lights? Spray or sticker?

night shades its a spray, look on ebay, your gonna need to buff them or they wont be shiny

spray night shades, sand it down, spray clear,

or you could spray, clear, the sand with 2000 and buff to a shine

its pretty much just black spray paint mixed with clear coat.

Spray nite shades a tad darker then you'd like it to be when you're done. Sand with 2000 grit paper wet, rub out with compound, clean with alcohol/surface prep, spray krylon clearcoat until glossy.

Take out lights, sad down with like 1000 grit paper. Spray niteshades in slow (LIGHT) coats untill desired darkness. It dries slow, this will be a few hour project, and let it dry atleast 2-3 hours. Trust me.

if you have a spray gun, just get some clear and put like 6 drops of black in there, just a HS black, no metallics, unless you want some. and mix it up and spray, wet sand and buff if you want.
to prep, either use a gray scotch bright and some PPG scuff paste, or 1k wet sand will work too.

so 1k grit sand paper, some cans of tint, a can or two of clear, and some Time. Got ya... Ill do this later this week...
