Eh, I was hoping for a sit down steakhouse kind of place.

It's always a good sign to me if you can get a glass of wine and your napkin is not disposable.

The Varsity sounds good for lunch though. I'll be wanting greasy f00dstuffs after I've been busting ass stripping down a stang to the bare shell.

I finally figured out what the damn Varsity is, too, after seeing thread after thread about "Varsity meets." Which one does everyone go to, or does it vary by meet?

The Ritz-Carlton is the only 5 star restaurant in ATL I believe though...if you wanna look into that as well.

Its just burgers. Its not really that pricey. It depends on what you get. I haven't tried their burgers, but I think I recall their prime rib setting me back a penny.

Ray's on the River.
Ray's in the City.
Ray's Killer Creek.

The best damn steak I have ever had was at Ray's on the River. I went a few weekends ago. I loved it. Valet Parking, Dress Code, etc. BTW, The cheesecake is heaven.

Sounds great. I'll present the g/f with options. This is def. a treat for her since I'll be working for a few hours in the morning to get my parts.

...while she sleeps late and watches tv in the hotel room.

Ruth's Chris steakhouse FTW
doubt he'd be able to get dinner for 2 + drinks in for under $100.

i'd personally recommend dante's down the hatch. excellent atmosphere and ambience, esp if you reserve a table on the "ship". dinner for 2 will run you about $60-80 depending on exactly what you get and then you can even get a couple drinks w/your meal. you won't regret going there.

Just because you found it good doesn't mean its 5 stars.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Look it up toots, the only 5 star restaurant in Atlanta is "The dining room" at the Ritz.

Now its probably too pricey for the $100 for 2. But still best Atlanta has.

Fogo De ChoeClose, but it's Fogo de Chão. It's also expensive as all Hell. Seeing how he wants to keep it under $100 for two people, Fogo is pretty much out.

When I was in that business, the Ritz was the only 5 star in Atlanta. Nice Kitchen but you pay for the service. Just being conservative, you will spend close to 150
