I love wine, not to get drunk off of, but I do enjoy a good merlot or cabernet-sauvignon every once in a while. Sucks that I'm only 18 and can't buy it myself. :(

Mmmmmmmmm son, you jus became my new friend, screw the Merlots, ugh nasty..dry UGH! If you want Eiswein (Ice wine) look for ones grown around the Mosel its the big river here in Germany and near where they have the Wine fest everyyear. Id be more thenhappy to send you some good Eiswein, but that be shit loads of money. Reisling is another good grape, but be careful bc it can be really dry or really sweet. Auslese ..mmmm.. pretty much sweet no matter what; Beren-Auslese is the best!! Dienhard does a good cheap version, but i prefer to spend the dough on wines. Pretty sure you know age is a big thing to do with wines right? But NOT ALL wins are better with aging. If your buying a wine off the shelf usually aging is not favorable, thus why not many newer years will be there. You can go up to Chateau' Elon somewhere in N Ga i think. Wine tasting is the best way to get what you want. Theres a small winery bout 5 mins from Covington called Fox Winery, never had there wines bc when i was in the states i was underage so there goes that. Stay away from boxes!!! Italian wine is also good, my mind jus went blank but theres one that starts with a B thats perfect! Also France has a sweet wine called Sauterens If you find it near you it will prbly be ratehr expenisive but its worth it. Real sweet. Canada also does a decent version of Eiswein. OH SHIT almost forgot.. Look at the %. The higher, usually the dryer, bc the sweeter wines are more fruity thus, loses alcohol bc it doesnt fermit as much. there so much you can reserach into wines and still have more to learn, a lil tip is let it air out after opening the bottle.
