A few weeks ago i was offered a 95 celica from my grandmother for $3,500 with only 61,000 original miles. Knowing the value of the car was somewhere around 4,500-5,500 (blue book) i jumped on it, and was soon on a plane to florida. when i got there however, this is what i found...

Even tho the Florida sun had taken its toll on the paint, I still picked up the car, because the interior was spotless and the engine had such low miles. And as soon as i got the car home, i started work sanding, bondoing, dent pulling, and primering.

Here is how she sits today...

I love the way those celicas look. I don't think I would've paid what you paid for it, but it was nice either way. What are your plans for it?

i plan on a 5 spd swap and boosting the stock motor. ive seen a few with the same motor running 12+psi on stock internals no problem and making over 200whp

i used 3m wetordry sandpaper, and rustoleum primer, the cheap primer doesnt last very long in my experience with it
