I got my dynojet baseline today and was blown away at the result. Only "mods" are weld in flowmasters and intake boot delete.

Great numbers man! the mods shouldn't have even added much. Most people with bone stock Terminator's do around 380-390.

DieselNuts
06-01-2008, 07:17 PM
Yeah, the highest I had heard of was 381hp. I was hoping to see 375 but thought I was gonna be disappointed with a 360ish run. Boy was I suprised. The back to back 399s made me happy too.

What did you put down at Forged again? just curious at the dyno difference. Congrats on the numbers. I need to do a DJ pull.

I made 338rwhp @ forged with stock mufflers. I dont think the mufflers made much of a difference, but I guess we'll never know.

Thanks man. Yeah, I want a programmer w/a custom tune to be my next mod. I will probably get a pulley shortly after that too.

these numbers are pretty much par for the course for the DD/DJ comparison. The mufflers may have helped some.

did you see eli's ls7 twin turbo build?

and jumpin didnt you put only 5 hp more down on a dj then dd? derek's dj numbers are about ~20% higher then sharif's dd. i think sharifs dyno just sucks at life.

Yeah I did 410 on DJ at Mainstream. I think the conditions were what caused the low DJ number. I still expect to make between 430-450whp on a good day. I dyno'd the same day Diesel did at Forged in April and put down 394 whp, did 405 in Dec.

On another note. . . big things may be coming soon and big numbers to go with them, courtesy Of Luie (Eagletangreen).:ninja: :ninja:

Well I got the sky strapped down since I finally worked out all the little bugs in the turbo kit. Same day as dieselnuts.

Dejon 5027 Ball bearing turbo kit with Garrett 5027RE by Precision Turbo
Dejon Pipes + Greddy RS BOV
Dejon Boost controller
Dejon 2.75" Ceramic coated catless DP
Magnaflow 3" Exhaust
QTP 3" Stainless Electric cutout (It was CLOSED on all of these runs so the dyno would reflect street performance. Could probably gain 10hp or more up top with it open)
Fujita Intake (This HAS to go, it is way too small at 2.5" for this setup and doesnt fit the dejon correctly, going to a 3" dejon intake to match)
RPI Intercooler
Westers Base tune to eliminate ecm nannys and up to 7000 rpm limiter with adjusted fueling through HPTuners by me

93 OCTANE PUMP GAS!

SAE Numbers
21 Psi - 333 RWHP - 301 RWTQ
23 Psi - 341 RWHP - 341 RWTQ
25 Psi - 365 RWHP - 352 RWTQ

The 23 and 25 psi runs stopped early at 5600 rpms, the fuel isn't there on the current tune (I tuned it at 21 psi) for it to pull all the way to redline, But I imagine at 25 psi she stands to pull to close to 400rwhp on PUMP GAS if the graph continues like the 21psi pull was, perfect nice and smooth. It was HOT HOT HOT outside, 92-95 degrees on each pull ambient and 30% humidity. I'll post the sheet tonight when I get home from my parents' house.

Was that time ran @ commerce?

1.8t
06-02-2008, 12:08 PM
No, it was run at MMP. Commerce is faster than MMP 90% of the time due to the weather. I have ran at both plenty times, but have been frequenting MMP exclusively the past 3yrs because I have buddies with very fast cars down that way and we have fun on the street after the track. Ripped a 2001 996TT with a chip/exhaust(520hp) and a 2005 Lambo Gallardo my last trip down there w/ my latest setup. 4.5 cars on the Porsche by ~130mph from a 40 kick and 5.5~6 cars on the lambo for the same race. The Lambo gets dogged on by pretty much everything lol. They just got a 03 Viper SRT that I need to go play with, so I may head that way again in the coming weeks.

The computer doesn't see boost past 22.5psi or so so once it hits that wall it goes bonkers because it doesnt automatically add fuel... I've added fuel manually through HPTuners tables but apparently not enough quite yet. She'll sure get up and go through

Edit: The air/fuel on there is wrong, too, before your jaws drop. Both my UEGO and factory widebands were reading 12.4:1, right where it was tuned to.

Yeah my Innovate wideband was reading a little richer than the sniffer, but not as far off as yours. The guy running the dyno said that the sniffer is very accurate, just a little bit delayed because of the length of the lines, etc., but at Mainstream they told me the sniffer on their DynoJet could read .5-1.0 off at times. I think I noticed that the sniffer only went in one of your pipes. I don't know where your exhaust splits, but perhaps that could've had an effect on it too.

Those are some great numbers.. Let me know what you put down when you get the pulley on. I would like to compare it to what I put down. Also, I don't know if you need an intake but I will hook you up with my K&N FIPK... The filter could use a clean but I have the recharge kit for it too

lol now THAT would make my engine explode... i think that would make the evo fanboy happy lol

now 12 psi... thats different... :ninja: my ls2 would make close to 600 with about 7psi... 12 would be a whole different beast... BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT then there's the money side of boosting it... it just costs too damn much money for where i'm at in life right now... maybe in a year or so.

I bought it off of SVTP and I got the Filter, heat shield, the 2 brackets that hold it in place...actually, I got everything minus the nuts, bolts and washers. I wrote him to see if he still has them, but I think I might just be making a trip to the hardware store tomorrow.

BTW, CCW classics are def. my wheels of choice. I wish I could afford some.
