sorry for the quality of picture as well, it was cropped from my camera phone. i love the camber on this car and how it matches up perfectly on the fenders, i do dare say that it is VIP styled

I appologize anyone this is about to offend

OMG why does everyone like slammed? It looks like broken suspension, and you guys must skeet over the thought of hitting speed bumps because you all get raging hard-ons from these super impractical cars. It's the worst fad ever, and the thing I hate most about IA members,

It's a sick car nonetheless... --saw it today. --had the deep dish, gloss black, steelies I think. --nice runs too. I dare say, I would rock a miata like that. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l230/puregroove_dot_org/thumbup.gif

it think u can really do, literally, everything on ur car as long as u pull it off.....and in this case, that miata did..........but i know its gonna suck on speed bumps though

is slamming cars a "fad"
i thought fads were something that people do
but eventually they move on
like now everyone is just sticking to a more clean look
i thought people have been slamming cars since forever

It's the worst fad ever[/RANT]

You're kidding, yes? I can show you proof that it's definitely NOT a fad AND that's it's definitely NOT worst ever. The first car, out of about 15 that I've owned, that I "slammed" was my 1980 Datsun 210 SW. When did I "slam" this car? April of 1988. Twenty years ago.

Those three right there were all done in 1988, 1990 and 1991 respectively. Fads go away. After a brief amount of time.

and the thing I hate most about IA members, [/RANT]

Worst ever? Shall I prove this wrong as well?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v131/quickdodge/DSC01474.jpg

What is that that rests on the roofs of these two cars? Oh my! Unused roof racks. Now this would (without argument) be one of THE worst fads ever.

Now is slamming a car practical? Not really. Does it look good? Shiit yea it does. If there's one mod that everyone can do to make their car better looking, it's to lower it. About 99% of all cars made have a better look with less/zero wheel gap.

Hopefully, and I feel it is so, you've been schooled. But I'm not trying to rile you, just educating. Later, QD.

There is a HUGE difference in slamming and lowriding. One of the differences is the car. The other is how it is lowered. In the car, reasoning, if you're dropping a land yacht, it is referred to as either lowered or dropped. Compact cars are considered slammed or even (and I hate this term) dumped. How is it lowered? If you're using hydraulics, your car is either juiced, tucked or (believe it or not) lifted. Waaaay before the days of raising your car to fit bigger wheels under it, when you had your switches, your car was "lifted." I think air bags may have adopted some of the same terminology. If you're on springs, coils or heated/cut springs, you're slammed, or dumped, depending on how low you are. Later, QD.

I saw three lowriders on 85N coming home last night. They all had club plaques in the rear. I hope there will be more and more around the area. I love them.

I love the look of a slammed car but until I can afford a DD I can't slam my car for the practical reasons of I have to drive it daily. (that and I can't find springs that lower it enough or cheap enough coilovers (cheapest being $500.00) I am saving for them though.

That Miata is damn sexy though!!
