so i was sittin looking at a miata and a rx7 and i had a pretty cool idea... take the rotary engine of the rx7 and put it in the miata... i wonder if it would fit..
so has it been done before and what would a few benefits be? othere than not having many done like that?

just be sure to get some Golden Eagle forged pistons for that rotary... especially if you plan on heavy boost

Someone i know in fl has one... it runs low 11's on radials.
If you got the cash, do it!

retarded. Why put the worlds most unrealiable engine into a miata.
The Miata 1.8l is stout enough to handle 300whp, why mess with it?
Besides he amount of fabrication and work involved is prob out of your budget.
