So some guy at a dealership ported the head, not a professional and deff not flow tested :idb:

why did you use low compression pistons ? non sleeved b20's are no good for turbo ...and skunk2 pro 1's are more for all motor, strange combinaton you got there

If this is a 97 - 98 B20, then 9.5:1 is a bump in compression. If this is a b20z though, then 9.5:1 is a reduction in compression.

whats your point ? If your going as far as buying new aftermarket pistons, Why stick with a lower compression unless your going turbo witch a b20 non sleeved is not the way to go...10 11-1 compression would be better for the skunk2 set up he's running

not really the PRO1s have shown HUGE gains in turbo cars lately.

YOu are right about the sleeves though, this is a 500whp capable motor, besides the stock b20 sleeves.

Unfortunetly you will be better off parting it out because the block is almost worthless to someone unless they want to make less than 300whp because the sleeves will crack.

The head sounds like its got some good stuff in it.

My POINT was that you said "why use low compression pistons", when in fact if this is a 97 - 98 block, then the slugs used are HIGH(ER) compression pistons (higher than stock). You're turning this into a "what I would have done" thread when it's a for sale thread.
