thanks but no thanks man. the problem is clear cut with this car. the rebuilt motor has not been abused. all people have to do is buy the part and put some labor into it. this car with a good motor is worth over 6k. i think 4k is very fair considering the list of things u have to do is small. TOW, BALANCE SHAFT ELIMINATOR, AND LABOR

very very true. thanks. the reason why i lowered it from 4000 to 3500. is so that people could afford the tow. that is easily the most expensive part of fixing the car.

reading a little about balance shafts.


Balance shafts are most common in inline four cylinder engines which, due to the asymmetry of their design, have an inherent second order vibration (vibrating at twice the engine RPM) which, contrary to popular belief, cannot be eliminated no matter how well the internal components are balanced.

How does the Balance shaft elimination kit work if, supposedly, balance shafts cannot be eliminated?

alright i have ridden in an h swapped accord without the balance shafts. at the most the passenger should feel a difference in the vibrations. the balane shafts rotate oppsite of the crankshaft. but they main i gues you can say "absorb" minor shocks of the other belts. but you can go to preludezone.com or preludeonline.com. and people with more experience woth h22 balance shafts can vouch for you.
