hey guys,
posting up my 1980 corolla. i never though id part with her.
its got about 9x,xxx on the odometer, i am not sure if its rolled over or not.
its got some rust here and there, but nothing that cant be fixed. the exterior itself is solid and the trunk is still solid too.
the car drives beautifully. ive put about 5000 miles on it, and i wouldnt hesitate to drive anywhere in GA with it. it does consume a little oil. ive driven it enough to know that every second tank of gas i put a 1qt of oil in.
motor pulls hard and transmission shifts GREAT. has a new clutch in it.
it has a brand new dash and the seats are in decent shape. the entire interior is really in decent shape.
it has the AC compressor and stuff on it. i did a R134 conversion and i put a new drier in, and charged it but it didnt work. might need some other parts to get the AC running again.
ive also replaced the clutch master, tie rod ends, idler arm, right rear wheel cylinder. it will come with some nice little 13's and 2 of the tires are new, the rears are getting near replacement. it will also come with the original set of 14 wheels with some tires on them.
i upgraded the front suspension and brakes. they are bigger vented pieces off of a AE86 style corolla. ive also got a spare RF complete brake/suspension assy because the one thats on there clunks. its a 10 minute install i might get to it before its sold.
by the way if u really like the chassis do ur research. almost every ae86 suspension part bolts up so its real easy to get it sideways (rear end, suspension rear sway bars disc brake conversions coilovers ect all bolts up)
the car has a 2 piece header on it right now, and its missing the gasket, so the exhaust leaks a bit, and its not exactly quiet. but im throwing in a header so all you have to do is get the exhaust fabbed up to it and then it will be quiet and faster.
it has a pretty short rear end in it (i forget what it is) but itll get up and go. its definatly fun to drive. oh ya this car was an auto-manual conversion. so whatevre rear end is in the auto car is whats in this.
it also has an upgraded weber style carb on it. i believe its a 32/36.
this is a great little car guys, but ive upgraded to a 4 door accord (ironically the accord is broken more thant he corolla ever was LOL)
im asking 1200 bux. and ill get better pics this weekend
