Check out the link (http://insidehighered.com/news/2005/08/16/textbooks) about the GAO study. The article has some internal links to the Publisher's comment on the study. I spent over $500 on books this semester. I may have to sell a kidney to cover the costs, or sell blood plasma for beer money like I did during my undergrad years. My average cost for a textbook was $148...LoL. How much did you pay for books this semester?
