most of the cars in the hotrod class run bars of this size and length, but it was a good event, comparable to import showdown, just not as many cars

yea man, i asked brian where you were...sucks you couldnt make it, was a pretty good event and finally starting to get the racecar dialed in is ftw, although its still a solid second+ off

trannies not really any issue, we got the motor/tranny out earlier this week and he built the motor and installed it thru/fri/sat with a fresh tranny, just needs to be pulled apart and a shim put in 3rd, atleast thats what dr jones thinks....he couldnt get it in 3rd on the first qualifying run, datalog showed he was completely out of boost for just over 3 seconds and he still run [email protected] the cars got 8 sec potential, just gotta get it dialed in

the oil pump took a dump, jimmy thinks on the last run, i didnt get to go over to the shop today so i dont know if they got to tear it apart or not, but he said it had 0 oil press when they pulled it out of the trailor yesterday and had metal shavings in the pan, also said the new bullseye turbo has shaft play as well...turbo is being sent off thurs to be rebuilt, hopefully theres nothing major ruined in the motor....i know he was planning on trying to do some highboost tuning fri at sdr but now its a no go....told him its time to give that little blue hatch of his a new outlook on life while the racecars down
