I know some of you have already spent months and years getting your car just how you want it but for those of you just starting out on a car or with a project car; would you let Xzibit "pimp your ride" if say....you could choose a color scheme?? Like a promised "no flames, neons, spinners, racing stripes, chrome, or wings" type of deal??

Seriously think about it...I know a lot of people (including me) would say hell no right off the bat but think about all the free shit you could get and how much of a jump start you could get especially if your car was crashed up or something...they could get the body straight, get it running right, get it lowered on some rims, get some nice sub enclosures and such and ruin the interior...then all you'd have to do would be repaint it, adjust the interior to your style and replace the parts you don't want with something you'd have to buy anyway, but still be able to keep or sell all the other shit...

they did have at least one kid i saw who said he's "not all into the flashy stuff, he didn't like flames or big chrome wheels" ...can't remember how it turned out overall but i know they didn't put flames on there


i just figure if its a big project or stock car already and you plan on having to do paint, rims, suspension, interior, 12V, etc already then what's the worst that could happen??? they would put flames on there and you'd still have to pay for the paint job you were planning on getting already??

Id give it to overhaulin in a split second, theyd have to pay me to give it to pimp my ride. It was worse than tv screens in the bumper, on one of them they put a tv underneath the car because the guy likes to work on it, I believe it was the 4 runner with a fucking body kit.

not to pimp my ride. not my current car. granted my car doesnt look all that great. but ive put waaaayyyy too much work into it for someone to do something to it.
i dont even know if id want overhauling to do it. i mean chip is awesome with the cars but still. my current car... i want myself to do it. that way i can say "hey, i really did do ALL the work on the car"

Overhaulin' did a 95 civic a while ago.

built n/a engine with nice n20 setup. semi lowrider style paint but it turned out very very nice

my gf got mad at me cause iw asnt paying her any attenion heh. oh well
