2003 Honda CBR600RR, Black/Silver, and almost 21,000 miles which comes out to about 4200 miles a year if you broke it down.
Bike is solid, and much of the miles I have put on her is daily commuting.

I am not the first owner, and the bike has been dropped by mistake twice... The first time was in a un-lit parking lot where I was turing the wheel trying to exit and wasn't able to see a hole in the pavement then fell over so it resulted in some minor scratches (if I had frame sliders on there wouldn't have been any damage, sad thing was I had the sliders just hadn't installed them yet). Then the second was not done by me, it was dropped while being moved in my garage though with the frame slider took it so no serious damage.

So other than that the bike is great, runs great, looks pretty darn good, and had the 16K service (which included valve adjustment) from Honda Motorsports in Jonesboro.

Looking for $5000, of course title is clean and clear.

Two Brothers Slip-On
Power Commander
Speedo Healer
Front Sprocket is one down
Vortex Rear Sprocket is one up
Shogun Frame Sliders and Rear Spools
Pilot Power Tires which are pretty new not even fully scrubbed in yet (front is Sport, and the rear is 2CT because the front was on recall since they were made in France)
Pazzo Shorty Levers
Some brand of white bulbs
Some brand of flush mount turn signals

The right side frame slider scratched from the second drop in the garage, very little damage on the slider and nothing on the bike.

Hey Jonathan why the sale man? By the way guys I seen this bike an seen it in action a Hella deal folks ...Jonathan hit me up dude you buying another one or what

Well been thinking about it for a while, I don't get to ride enough for just fun... I have been mostly riding just to save gas from putting it in my car, and with my work schedule just kinda no time to enjoy the bike.

I haven't even been able to make the last two Mellow Mushroom meets, and doesn't seem like I will be able to make to many more in the future because of my schedule or much else for that matter.

So figure sell the bike then use that money to buy a lawnmower, and a weed wacker lol.

And with what is left over straight to my car loan to get it down to paying off quicker.

Now if things go well, and stuff is stable at work down the road... Chances are I will def. get another bike, always liked the Triumph Daytona 675 or another CBR.

What about you Josh? Missing that Kawi are ya :D

4,500 is a pretty fair price for an '03 bike with that mileage on it. I'd reconsider if I were you!

No Thanks He will keep it before he does that...YALL dont understand how clean an great this thing rides, runs, looks, sounds, this is well worth the price....BTW when did miles ever have to do with a bike? last I check they dont base a bike by the miles...Just my 0.02 cents, BTW I sold a 99 R1 with 38k miles on it for what it is worth By KBB an that was base on bike not miles....So cough up the other 500 if you want this one !

Miles have always been a consideration with bikes. Motorcycle engines wear the same way that car engines do. If you don't realize that, then you must be new to bikes.

20,000+ miles is a middle-aged bike. Just look around at the mileage on other bikes for sale. Nothing wrong with that, but discerning buyers won't pay top dollar for a bike with 20k+ miles if they can spend the same money on a bike with less than 10k on it.

The cosmetic shape is a plus, but the seller is asking a premium for it.

Really ok So miles.....If I own a 03 cbr600RR like his..he rides like Grand ma , service it all the time an takes care of it ......An I ride like there is no tomorrow an that I cant get hurt/die, riding wheelies slamming it down redlining every day ..my bike has same amount miles his has 20k mine still looks as good as his which one would you rather have his for $5K or mine for 4500K ? your not understanding how well he took care of his bike......I understand where your coming from...So I hope this will make you understand where he/I or coming from

Thanks Josh, and yeah KBB won't factor miles. But folks do, anything more than 10K on a bike and people like to freak...

I remember a good post from GSB before it went down where an older rider said he was more affraid of a lower mileage bike since it was hardly ever ridden unlike a bike ridden often.

Of course wear occurs like in a car motor. Josh is a ASE tech, pretty sure he is aware of that.

Also I am a member of various forums, including the CBR forums... I took a look around before considering my selling price. Can't forget just cause you see a similiar bike that may be the "better deal" one would also have to consider it's location as well the various other factors.

Generally a person who has been on the boards since 02, this is a basic thing to do when considering a sale.

Naturally my price was originally considered with room to negotiate... But since starting this thread now I don't want to sell for any less, though if someone wanted to give me the 5K then I might. So sticking to my price firm is my way of getting to keep the bike in some strange way.

If you or anyone else doesn't like my selling price or the fact I won't go any lower. Then I would suggest not to consider it, or for anyone to post about the price since I am not desperate enough to sell for any lower.

Hence why now I won't budge, everytime I think about selling I only have to take a ride to make me change my mind :D

Thanks again Josh for the backing up, but it is cool.

And Tarzan, same member from GSB?
