These have been in the works for a while. The tires pictured in that article are just mock-ups for the demonstration vehicle, and the real deals will have sidewalls and everything... imagine taking a corner with a tire that didn't have a sidewall. ftl

I wouldn't want these for my car simply because you can't adjust tire pressure for the conditions you're driving your car in. (track, etc.)
