my car kinda needs a tune now since i got the P+P intake manifold on there...

after running, it idles lean for ~3 - 5 seconds before it finally goes back to stoich. Also, when i first pull off, at around 1 - 2k RPMs it lags like crazynow.
Its also a little bit choppy/jerky in the rpms between 2500 and 3500.

i dont really have any real way to tune, b/c i dont have an AFC or anything like that. what do i do?

I think you need to let someone hold onto your car for like a good month and fix everything that's broken on it. That would be the best logical answer.

If you want to pay some money we finally got out vacuum leak tester and also get a better A/F meter.

lol, its not a vacuum leak, i checked checked and RE-checked all the vac lines. they all look good and theyre all attatched where they need to be. i even labeled everything when i replaced the IM. so, not that.

I need to see if someone can check my AFR out and then go from there.

^^ All he really needs is a vacuum gauge. But like I said, someone else needs to work on that thing.

lol, theres honestly not that much wrong with the car. All it needs is paint (on the way..:bump: ), headgasket, and piston rings. From there, i can go ahead and boost the motor.

The headgasket and rings wont be done by me though. I already made a weak attempt at it, and then gave up. So, ill be taking it to my mechanic for those two pieces...

But other than that....good?:goodjob: Oh, and also, i called Mainstream today. Im supposed to talk to Scotty from DigitalBox tuning on monday. Not so sure about getting tuned immediately, i think im gonna wait until i get my piston rings and headgasket done, and when im cammed and have a wideband o2, adjustable FPR, and an AFC in my car.

EDIT: heres the link to the vid with my narrowband o2 AFR at idle and acouple revs...

afc is not nec or the adjustable fpr unless you're trying to stretch a set of injectors that aren't large enough for your setup. we use our wideband when i tune, so it's not nec for you to get one either. just fyi to save you a little bit of $$.
