i was wondering if anybody knows of a company or something that makes aftermarket grills for the 1st gen LS400 chassis that's not priced astronomically high :crazy:

all the ones ive been coming across are made by companies like JP, Fabulous, Admiration, & etc.

and those bad boys range from $350-$700

i got a question... is it true that you cna use air suspension controller on 1g ls400's? You know about this working on the 1g's airs suspension? My friend has one that he "claims" hes gonna fix, but i know hes not and im gonna buy it form him...lol

and im sorta iffy about the JP clear bumper lights though. they's expensive! :eek:

I'd say DIY to remove the grill emblem, but thats so un-VIP. VIP is not all about the looks either, most of those cars have 400+ hp and cost $30K on top of the car to do right. You cant do it halfassed and use ebay parts, you cant put on Rota rims, you need name brand stuff.

sorry gtscoob...yes u are right and it is expensive...but theres things you can do yourself...i have a DIY grill and i think it looks halfway decent..cuz the chrome ones cost 300 ish..and im not bout to spend that much...just like with any scene theres a variety of VIP cars...ones thats all about class and luxury with just an exhaust and intake to get that rumble and thats it..some are turboed supercharged or wat not...most people think to be vip u need air suspension but 80% of vip cars in japan are still using coils....so yes its a costly hobby in the car game...just like with the whole jdm scene crap..the parts you put will show which class u belong in..if i had TE37's then people would classify me as a tuner..and whith any kind of modifying..u never wana do anything halfassed anyways :D...
