I dont know about that....go to sears and get a mig welder. Thats what i got and it works nice. Great for body work and exhaust. Would be great for roll cages too. Get it off their web site. They will ship it to your closest store (im pretty sure for free). I would look at spending a bit more if you are going to be using it to weld a roll cage.

i can't view ebay from work, but from the link title it's only a 100 AMP welder, so it will not do rollcage tubing (unless you want to die). it will do exhaust piping, but only if you use shielding gas like argon/co2 mix or it will splatter all over and make horribly porous welds that won't hold, and usually those little 100amp setups are setup for flux core wire which is shitty to work with.

Umm. I would say if you asking if a 100amp flux core, 90 dollar welder will weld a roll cage, then you have no bussiness building one. But no, that thing probably couldnt weld anything. Flux core sucks for welding. And i would agree with an above post: you get what u pay for. Spend 350-500 on a decent little MIG setup, and when you need a cage, bring your car to someone that TIGs cages, and can get them certified if needbe. good luck man. Once you drop some decent cash on a decent MIG, have all the fun in the world learning on little stuff: exhaust, IC pipiing ect will be no prob for the welder, it will depend on you. Good luck man. Practice, practice, practice!!!! post some work when you done!!!
