2 day job

So the past few days I have been detailing my car. I washed, clay bared, and waxed every square inch. I also did the inside and engine bay. I can honestly say my car has never looked so good:rockon:... I have had the clay bar kit for almost 6 months now but was skeptical. I would recommend everyone clay bar their car at least once a year. The car feels like glass now:banana: Any ways here are a few pics...

the truck tp dispenser was great, they actually make a toilet seat on a bracket that goes into the receiver hitch and holds a 9 gallon trash bag, it's called the "bumper dumper" to be exact, i can almost guarantee thats what that is for!

I used some armorol wipes. I have some that are for the interior and some that are for everything else.

Yes, I had the wipes that come it a bottle. I have the spray stuff too but I haven't tried using it yet because the wipes work great.

Well before I put some elbow grease in there with the wipes, I put a trash bag over my intake and MAF and hosed the engine bay down. Then I sprayed everything down with "simple green" and let it stand for about 5 min. Then I hosed it down again (repeat with simple green if you need). Then get the details with the wipes. It works great just watch the intake and MAF and make sure water doesn't get on it.

Nice job :goodjob: Car looks great. I've thought about detailing my car like that as well, but then realized that I drive a 19 yr honda that gets daily driven. Plus my drive way is 1/3 mile long and gravel :rolleyes: props to you though

ArmorAll is good but for a long lasting great satin shine/look, try Lexol. I've been using it for the past couple of months and can honestly say it has a more natural shine to it.

o yea i'm aware..i just havent detailed this engine..always detailed honda engines (my rip DC2, my moms CB7 and my bro's CB7, my bro's I35, my truck 88 toyota p/u)...just gota get on this one:D
