You need a spring compressor and some tech skill.

go to autozone....put down $30 for the spring compressor should use a 3/4 wrench compress them, take them off....and put in the new ones...then take the spring compressor back to autozone and get your money back

HAHA, ya they rent them. Thats how you do it. Pay 30, return them whenever you want to and get your money back, or keep them.

1. rent the tool
2. take of tires
3. take out the shocks/struts
4. put the compressor on
5. unbolt the top part of the shocks/struts
6. remove stock springs w/ compressor still on
7. put on your aftermarket suspension
8. bolt it up & put on car
9. retighten up tires
10. take off compressor w/ caution
11. bring it back for your money

you dont need a compressor for your car to take them off. Anyone know if those spring must be compressed to be put back on, or are they short enough.

your car takes less than 1hr per corner, and thats with retardation time included.

How do you take them off then? Cause a compressor is the safest and easiest way that i know of....oh, and Danny, do you still want that tank?

yea, i can tank that tank off your hands. maybe we can meet next week. or tonight. PM me.

I do it the unsafe way, that really isnt as bad as everyone thinks. Stand onthe strut with the top nut facing conctrete wall. Put impact wrench on nut, make sure back of the impact wrench in like 1 inch from wall. Then brace urself and kick the trigger on the impact wrench. laugh if u want, dont it plenty of times, no harm yet. YOu just might need a compressor for installation, but somtimes you dont., GL

$150 and we'll install them

you dont need a spring compressor, what i do is take a used belt, or old belt. tie it around and lock it around the coils. shoot the nut off with an impact, and loosen the belt.

ghetto but it works

dont even need a belt we always shot it all into a pillow of a garbage can as long as you use are your ok just use a wrench without spring compressors and your in for some trouble

i had a shop do mine, which i regret cause the dicks forgot an isolator on one side a bumpstop on the other. so i bought a haynes manual and fixed that shit my damn self. but u probably will need spring compressor cause accord springs are like 10 feet tall
