a couple of weeks ago i was leaving a friends house. i had to turn around in the street so i was pulling a three point turn. when foward fine, then reversed fine, then as i started to slip the clutch to go foward again. i heard somethin break and my car was just reving but wouldnt move. i could put it in gear, and i probably shouldnt have done this but i even put it in gear with out depressing the clutch pedal and it went into gear just fine, with no grinds or anything. but as i reved it wouldnt move. i dropped my transmission and my clutch/pressure plate are both fine. the throwout bearing seems fine as well. im guessing it is something inside the transmission? when i turn the input shaft the places where the axles would be going into the transmission turn at the same speed no matter what gear i put it in. anyone have any idea what is wrong? thanks

edit* car is integra type r, b18c5

are you sure it isn't an axle issue?

Hrmm, my car did the exact same thing when my clutch went out (wouldn't move & would go into gear w/out even pressing clutch); the splines in the disc were rounded out. But yeah I would've thought it would be either a clutch issue or axle .. So I don't know how to help you homie.

axle may have broke in the boot or separated the joint. check your axles out

You need to start checking out the drivetrain. If you would have told us your car that would have been a major help.

yep... i'd check the axles first while you have them out, if that's not the problem and you know the clutch is ok, then i'd say time to open up the tranny....

Sounds like an axle problem but I assume you checked them before you pulled the tranny. I think it is prob a diff problem. With no load on the tranny you can turn the input shaft and the diff will spin. You need to put the axles back in the tranny and have someone hold them while you turn the input shaft (make sure it is in a gear). This will let you know if it is the diff or not. If you open the tranny you may not see any problems if it is in the diff. Good luck.

man, you pulled your tranny out once and brought it to me, I remember it was perfect inside, suck if the diff went.
