So John Hagee endorses John McCain. Then John Hagee says a lot of "hurtful" things about Catholics. John McCain still chooses to keep John Hagees endorsement. Why isn't Mr. McCain getting ridiculed for keeping this man's endorsement?

Well, the Catholic church hasn't had the greatest publicity in the past few years.

It is kind of a double-standard, though.

"CHURCH AND STATE ARE SEPERATE!"

....or something along those lines I'm sure.

Why wasn't that said during Obama's ordeal.

because democrats are always trying to trash each other to make themselves look better... Duh!

They don't know politics so they put the focus on other things. Listen to a few of obama's speeches. They are all the same, and all mean nothing. Hillary is the same way.

We'll Idk about you, but I'd rather have someone speak and stay firm on certian topics. Other than McCain.

Well I'm voting republican no matter who is running. I don't really care what the president says or does, as long as he signs republican backed bills and vetoes democrat backed bills.

Democrats love to give money away, and they love to raise taxes on the middle and upper middle class to pay for it. Anyone who makes a decent amount of money should be republican, unless you think it is fair that you are paying a higher percentage in income tax than someone who makes less than you. Why should those who earn more have to pay a higher percentage in income tax? It is not my responsibility to pay for those who are too lazy to pay for themselves. I work too hard earning my money to just give it away to someone who is going to sit on their lazy ass waiting on the 1st and 15th to come around so the government can make the payments on their escalade.

The only reason most people are voting democrat this time is because they think that republicans are responsible for the war. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back when the Iraq war started, congress had to vote whether or not to declare war. In that vote, quite a few democratic congressmen and congresswomen voted in favor of the war. Also, has everyone forgotten the **** Bill Clinton got us into back in the mid/late 90's in Bosnia? What president hasn't gone and started **** with other countries that are fighting each other (which is almost always none of out business)?

Democrats escalated the start of the Vietnam war and supported sending more and more troups even though it was a failure. Thats no different than whats happening in iraq right now. People are so fast to lay blame.

I don't remember Obama saying he would never dismiss his pastor. I believe when the story emerged shortly after there was a debate where that question was anwsered and he said he rejected and denounced the comments. Correct me if I am wrong.

NATO didn't bring peace, they forced peace.

Either way, it was still none of our business.

Because no one is attacking him, the Democrats have no nominee. This is why the democratic party considered to be doing "badly". By the time they do have a nominee either Obama or Clinton, both would be damaged by "friendly fire" this leaving the Republican party at an advantage.

instead your money will go to the increased cost of our necessities, since our economy is horrible and the american dollar is the weakest it has been in years. awesome so either way you going to continue to have less.

Why wasn't that said during Obama's ordeal.

Because this was not the case. His church speaks politically too often.

On a side note, to be a tax exempt organization, you are not allowed to speak politically in a church. Church and state must remain seperate. I beleive they should no longer be tax exempt.

You are wrong.

He stated, "I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community." "I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother--..."

He said he condemned the comments, but can you truely beleive someone who continued to attend a church, lead by someone who makes comments like that, for 20 years. Allowing your children to hear such remarks as well.

I think he just says what seems to please the people. Not too different from other politicians to be honest, but I think his background is far worse than others.
