Someone gave me this program and it is supposed to have a crack code folder but when I try and access the folder it wont open.

What exactly does it say when you try to open it?

The folder has one folder that says crack and the other is the application (Program) so I installed the program and then tried to open the file named CRACK and if I click that one it has 2 files one is the program again and the other just says crack. If I click CRACK in that it gives me a error message

Hmm... ask the friend that gave it to you? Is there some sort of README.txt file to explain how to install the crack?

The only one I can find on google is one that decrypts it but then says I need another program to copy it

you probally copy the program exe from the crack folder to the folder where your program is installed

Thats what he just told me, So I would pull the program and crack folder as one and drop it in the program file over the installed one right?

copy the files from the crack folder to the installed folder, usually C:\Program Files\DVDFab Platinum, then execute the *.exe file, then click on the "crack" or "patch" button. But be weary of generic files called crack.exe, they're typically trojan or virus files.

Thanks, Yeah I trust the source cause my I.T guy put the program on my flash drive so its from his computer
