:police:This is so wrong but oh so right. A Twin Turbo Ford 302 swapped Camaro putting down 750hp's and doing 11.5 's on street tires.

At least it still has a V8. Haha, I was expecting to see an sr20 or rb under the hood. That thing is sick.

That is the worse swap ever in my opinion. Why do you want to put a ford motor in a chevy. But other than that its a nice/clean car.

I've seen plenty of Mustangs with that kind of power hook just fine, its all about how you build it.

Yeah.......... on street tires. Pretty damn good if you ask me. Car looks good. Motor I dont understand. Could have made more with less money with a LS1 motor.

Yeah.......... on street tires. Pretty damn good if you ask me. Car looks good. Motor I dont understand. Could have made more with less money with a LS1 motor.

actually thats not really that good...

A few years back me and my dad built a 2nd gen Trans Am with a heavy ass pontiac 400. It had around 700hp (N/A, no spray) and ran high 10's on nitto street tires.

I mean ****, there's videos all over youtube of stock C6 Z06's running mid 11's on street tires, and high 10's on slicks. Hell there's even a guy with proof that he ran 10.981 on stock goodyear eagle F1 run-flat street tires.

I'm just saying, he would have been better off to stuff a build Gen 3 GM small block under the hood, or even a built older gen 1/2 sb.

LordZed

You know how the drag's are. Sometimes 10 second cars just wont hook up. Sometime's 11 second cars hook right and run faster than expected. It's not always a HP issue. It could be heavy or something. Running a higher rear end ratio for the street, stuff like that.

Are you sure it's still displacing 302ci? If they went through all this trouble.. why not a stroker?

Are you sure it's not 351 based?

This is soo true. If that person twin turbo'd a small block chevy he would prob be over 900hp if not 1000.

3.70 rear huh? That may knock a little time off right there compared to a 4.10
I bet it would be nasty with slicks.

with a 4.10 you would run out of gear too fast with that much hp. a 3.73 would probably be the gear ratio of choice. Without going into overdrive, with a 4.10 rear end that car would probably top out around 130mph or so. It really depends on the height of the rear tires as well as the final drive ratio. Most drag cars, even if equipped with overdrive will not use it since any ratio under 1.00 causes a loss in efficiency.

Well spoken sir. I see your point. I guess I'm used to powerglide tranny's and tall ass tires

I bet it would be fun as hell ont the street. Probably doesn't handle all that bad either (in muscle car terms)

thats a million dollar car lol.....its nice but way to much money for those et's i like the look but damn. i would have done a 454 roller motor and a big roots blower and bitchin suspension and a flat black paint job and ran 9's all day long on slicks.but good job on the orgionality. i like it but damn that car sucked up some serious cash.

With the weight of the car a 3.08 gear would work fine. My 5000 lb brick has a 3.42 gear in the back and tall tires. Turbos love load.

3.08 lololol hell naw. the taller the gear the greater the torque 3:73 gears or 4 :10's if you wanna max it out in the quarter. 3:42's would be straight for the daily driven street"racer"but then again it all depends on converter and cam specs doesnt it? hehehe im sure its nasty with the gears they mentioned

Yeah look at his 60' 1.70 on street tires. Vettes hook very well. Id say this car is not made for drag racing and it has to be babied out of the hole if I had to guess it was prob. a 2.0-2.2 60' but prob put up around 140 on the big end. Like its been said a car with less power and good suspension can run faster than a higher HP with ****ty suspension.
