GTS or SR5?...yeah theres a few 86 guys that lurk around here i think...but they dnt show as much..i was hanging out with 2 from last year..around the gnett area...reli cool guys...havent seen em in a while...then i sold puregroove my 86...which he now meticulously takes care of. when i get my next 86 we should all go cruising n such! oh and i have a friend also who recently acquired an SR5....u should go to the monthly varsity meet which is the first thursday of every month so i can see the car!..this last one i only saw 2.

Ok Ok! After being at Formula D all day Friday and Saturday. I noticed there are a TON of hachis around Atlanta. I saw a bunch of coupes, a red hatch with jdm bumpers riding on supras, and the cleanest black hatch i've ever seen, jdm bumpers, volk TE37, very sick car. I was too busy working though, didn't get a chance to really look at them.

If anyone was at FD and looked up at the judges stand and saw the guy standing next to Ken with a speed gun.... that was me! :D

I parked like right next to the road that led all the way back. I was only there on Friday from 11:30p to 4p. Only got a few shots of the drivers on their practice runs.

Usually just myself + 2 other ae86's. Last week we went to Fudruckers instead. One guy has been visiting in Vietnam for the past few weeks also.

But... yes I am there most every week at the Sonic off Satellite. I will make sure I am there this week if you want to come out. I was planning on going anyway, but I won't let anything get in the way.

If I am going, I kill time at Fry's after work / before meeting up. We usually arrive at Sonic about 8pm.

ur not alone. mine is an SR5 as well. the guy i bough it from took really good care of the engine and the car. it passed emission with ease.

There is a high-dollar (but very good) sushi joint there. We didn't get hassled at all and we basically had as much space as we wanted to ourselves.

I'd propose Atlantic Station as a future meetinng spot in the downtown area. I'm also not so familiar with the rest of downtown so lets hear some more suggestions!!!

there's one hachi being sold in here for $600. its sr5, stickshift, the paint is faded but it runs. i would say its a 5 or 6 on a scale from 1-10. if u want it just let me know i can give this guy a call but if u dont thats cool.

Wow... usually people buy the Cobalt or the Camry so they can stop driving their ae86!! Even with the best built and maintained car, it's still over 20 years old and things eventually will go wrong.

Noone has any other suggestions for good meeting spots downtown? How about Turner field, unless they gate all their lots? There is a KFC or Churches or something right across the street. We may get kicked out if we have too much of a gathering though.

I would be thrilled to go back to Atlantic Station. We could do the Varsity meets but that is too many people in one place IMO.

I remember back a few years when we would meet up at Batlground when it was in that complex off 85 / Buford Highway. That was fun to watch the street races. It was a pretty cool location too since it was a loop and noone had to drive straight back to the start line.

As far as I know, but I wouldn't mind meeting at Atlantic Station. From what Russ has posted, it seems like a really nice location. --good place for pics too. It's probably about halfway in between for both northside and southside parties, as well. :goodjob:

Dooood, Thanx Russ, Hopefully this will make the beast run. I didn't want to go buy a new one from "the Zone" and it not be the problem. We've got fuel going in the rail, coming out the rail, we got spark, It runs fine if I pour gas down the pvc hose, but the injectors are seeing no pulse to fire them. We think it got to be the pick-up in the dizzy. Good lookin' out Russ! Hopefully we'll see ya'll tomorrow night on the "maiden voyage" Sounds like trouble to me! j/k

The distributor from Russ let the car run long enough to check the timing with a light, but we still have a ground issue. hopefully we can solve the problem in time to go to Atlantic Station for the meet. eddie, you can probably ask gabe from t3 for a spacer. im sure they can ship you one, but i don't know the price. i have a set of stock rear links that you can have. just let me know which ones you need (upper or lower link) i have alot of them laying around in my garage. you know my #.

Probably was me. I left the drift event at Turner field Saturday afternoon and headed out I20 / 285 / 78 back to Grayson. Where-abouts were you at? Park Place?

Whew! We finally got the hatch running properly. We are waiting on a new slave cylinder for the clutch, and then bleed the brakes. We can then, take her on a test drive. Russ, the problem was in the wiring between the distributor and the ecu, so our original distributor works fine. I'll bring yours out this weekend to give back to ya. By the way, your distributor woked just fine. Thanks a lot.

However, I saw there is a Sonic a few minutes from Hartsfield airport, Jonesboro Rd in Lake City I think it is? There is also one in Decatur off Flat Shoals rd. I don't know why I like Sonic so much but they usually work great for car meets. Plus the Island Fire burger is Boss!!

well, shes not quite in the family. We got her 5 yrs ago, when i was 14, and she was gonna be my first car. we paid $30 cash and it was supposed to be my first car, something that wouldnt matter if i destroyed. then we learned what it was. so my dad told me there was no way itll be my first car. so i got a mustang and had to EARN the corolla. but then i got into drifting, and my dad didnt want me doin that in the hachi, so i never got it. he gave me a mid 12sec S10 before he would let me drive that corolla. but now, being kicked out of my moms house and no longer having the mustang, i finally talked him into giving it to me. another major issue we had was the lack of a title, but 86 or older doesnt need one, so :D i got her. ill post a pic. BEWARE: it no longer has the ****ty yellow stickers, but it still has the OEM civic wing my dad decided to weld onto the back of the car for aerodynamic purposes :( so if anybody has a spare trunk i could take off their hands id be glad to pay for it!
