if its the dash or door handles that are painted, take them out and i used crown tuff strip heavy-duty stripper on my GFs car to take the paint off. just put it on there thick an let it sit maybe 5-10min an it will bubble the paint up an you can basically wipe it all off. and it will not mess up the original finish.

As far as the "rice" goes I guess pull interios parts from a salvage Civic. If you want to derice iot by swapping wheels steelies with stock hubcaps are not ricey, unless the car is dumped or you paint the steel wheels or caps.

At least it doesn't have unpainted body kit pieces or anything like that. the remedy for your car's "riciness" sounds pretty simple my friend.

id say put a big honda sticker on the front windshield, get a body kit. altezza lights, angel eyes. and some type S stickers then you should be good :goodjob:

Basically what every body else is saying, get rid of the rims and get new inteiror. Then a get a nice set of coilovers and then go from there. Paint and body looks alright so focus more on the performance and interior.

go down a dirt road.. make sure your doing around 45 or 50.. 50 just to be safe.. pull the e-break hit a tree, make sure its not the driver side.. call the cops tell them someone ran you off the road. or sell it get a 5spd civic and put a cf hood on it, good looking rims and little motor work, turbo?

Seriously I opened the topic up expecting to see something pretty ricey, and to my surprise I just see a stockish looking (not in a bad way) Civic on some admittedly cheezy 17'' wheels with rubber band tires.

Wheels and interior swap/paint strip should do the trick man.

I know the "kill yourself" stuff might be funny to the trolls, but seriously the car isn't that bad. At least you're trying to make it better.

i just think the interior is rice. ill have pics soon. i want to either fix the auto tranny or make it 5 spd. but idk which will be cheaper. also my check eng. light is on... i think its bc of the tranny. hell idk... but at least its getting 210 miles a tank with the f'ed up tranny. its way better than my truck.

uhh.. transmissions wont make you have bad gas mileage.

paint or replace interior pieces if you think it is rice.

the wheels are ugly, good thing IA has a huge for sale forum and a lot of honda/acura parts.

i appreciate all the feedback fellas. but my current problem is unemployment, so as soon as i get my new job, ill be fixing my civic, then my 240. ive heard manual tranny's get better gas mileage and i cant stand driving an automatic car. i just want to know which would be cheaper. fixing my transmission problem or a 5 spd swap. the auto tranny i have is missing 1st and 3rd, and reverse sometimes. its slow as hell but it gets me from A to B you know?
