you would think a veilside lip would fit perfectly. Everything but that gap looks good though. What you planning to go with since you not keeping the lip?

taking to intense power to see if they will send me a proper one without any BS, its not really their fault, but Veilside didnt seem to give two ****s, you would think that for $500 bucks, but...

cf intake ducts ftw. kit looks nice, would never have a lip on a Z though (atl roads > body kits)..and dont save for a short block, save it for a ls2 :) you know your Z wants one, thats why she wanted to take pics in front of the chevy sign

very good looking Z...ive gotten mixed signals about the roadster...most of the people ive talked to would choose coupe > roadster...
personally...i love the roadster...always loved convertibles...what made you choose a roadster over a coupe? just wanna hear a roadster owner's opinion =)

cause it was more expensive and i'm a baller...lol j/k ;)
If i wanted a pure track car Z, then i would have got the coupe. But i wanted something that was, well more of a cruiser. Besides, used to be to, to be a sports car, it wasnt supposted to have a roof on it. I never really like convertables till i drove my firends S2K. Basically i wanted and S2K, but with more power/torque and more interior room, so, there you go

the vert is nice but its something about it being ober heavy and underpowered and not having a hard top (like the s2k) that makes me like my coupe. plus my coupe is right at 3200 lbs with me in it! yippie for being tuned

eh, i dont think 300hp is underpowered, but i know what your driving at, if i wanted a pure track Z, yeah i would have got the low end coupe, but i wanted the opitions, besides i'm old school kinda guy, sports car used to always be convertables

I just wished I had researched more when I bought mine. I truthfully bought it o na whim. I just knew I wanted a Z with Hids, didn't realize all the different trim packages. I wish i had brembos. I got an Enthusiast though. Will have to get BBK eventually.

onedirtyZ, from the looks of it you have a 287 motor so your putting down roughly 220-240 stock depending on tranny and breakin.
and built ls2> built vq any day. can you get over 500 whp n/a on a vq? not so much...
and do you want to do a high compression build? or building it for boost. im off to performance factory the end of the month and ill see what n/a monsters tibbs is working on :boobies:

Yeah I may be doing some upgrades soon on my car. Thinking of going back to Forged for Meth injection and a few other little things. May be some good partouts coming ( Eagletangreen and BlackPearlZ ) so may do some shopping at ZDAYZ.

oh, He does a good job. Just not fond of the guy that owns it, or his work ethics so I don't trust him. He became my teacher at Griffin Tech and just didn't seem to competent... Anyways, glad it came out nice man!!!
