I had to take the baby for a repeat PKU last week there was some consern with the first one, well the doc office called today seems the concern is still there he has been diagnosed (sp?) with galactosemia, if not treated he could die soooooo first thing in the morning it is off to see the doc then off to the hospital for tests, I am very worried about him, hopefully everything will be ok... I was worried and couldnt sleep so I had to vent a lil sorry.

They caught it early so I am sure everything will be fine. Since Galactosemia is hereditary, did your hubby/bf have any concerns before the birth? I\'m surprised they did not perform some sort prenatal diagnosis knowing the hereditary history. Hell maybe they did. Anyways, with some dietary management everything will be turn out great. Goodluck.
