Try running more than like 10 psi for more than 30k miles! from what ive heard and read the h22's have a serious problem with cylinder wall thickness.

B4 I got my prelude I pondered the same question. Preludes and Integras are very different, but in a awkward twist of things those differences are what make them very similar. I would probably have gotten a DC2 if I had not found a 4th gen for 1800 bucks. Its ture if you put the same amt of money into B18c and A h22a1 the b series engine will yield more power. I don't why that is the case, but I just know it to be true. Ask vteckid to go into the specifics. He knows what the fuck a quench pad is. LOL!!! Preludes are not really meant to be all that fast. So I mean just set some realistic goals. Preludes are known for their handling characteristics. Especially the 5th gen sh model. I only know of two really "fast" preludes. The one that Jun modded a few years back and also this 4th gen prelude that was in modified mag. It was supposed to be the fastest 4thgen prelude in N. It all depends on what you want out of the car. Drag, auto x whatever. Preludes are heavy, but the things that make the prelude heavy are the things that make a prelude a prelude. Now grant it a sh w/a supercharger probably won't beat a crx w/ a type r motor, but c'mon who would expect it to. Just my :2cents: .

^^^Very right. Gotta love the handling of the Lude. Always remember, "Get low, get light, get fast!" Of course, it's all what you're willing to sacrifice for what you want. Sacrifice a little speed for good handling or the other way around.

Thank you!

That all depends on where you are racing. If two drivers of the same skill level are draging at commerce, the teggy will probably win since it is lighter than the lude. BUT if its on the highway, where the distance that is being used to race on is not controlled, the prelude could very well win b/ of the higher top speed.
Alos it could depend on whether or not the lude is 4th gen or 5th gen. $th gen are lighter than 5th gens.

BUT in a nutshell, no integra's are not really that much faster than preludes.
well i guess a gsr is not, but a type r definitely is.
